When we asked the Taking Route Community’s opinion on this year’s series, people overwhelmingly wanted to see outdoor spaces. I think that we all have a smidge of cabin fever and a deep desire to get out and be in green spaces and high tower places of the world.

As 2020 spilled over into 2021, travel plans were halted. The expat community spoke in unison the word stuck: stuck-in and stuck-out.

Now as things are opening up and we edge back into the world, let’s do it with thankfulness and joy, making the most of our time not being “stuck.”
