Denise is an Army Brat whose family finally settled in Georgia. Good strong coffee, Netflix and her Bible keep her sane. She homeschools her six kids with an "organic laid back approach" and is thankful they seem to actually be learning something. Ever since she moved to Southeast Asia in 2008, she's been learning to appreciate the slices of humble pie cross-cultural living serves her every day; especially when the discussion of language is brought up and she, yet again, is reminded that she is not as fluent as her husband.

Alicia Boyce Co-Founder and Podcast Host Alicia grew up in Southeast Texas and moved to "Sweet Home Alabama" just before her college years. She currently lives with her husband and their four children (2 boys, 2 girls) in Southeast Asia. Prior to moving overseas, she was a first grade teacher and had very few skills in the kitchen. Now she's one of those hip, stay-at-home moms who can make some pretty awesome homemade enchiladas. Alicia recently started a new blog, Ants in the Sugar , where she talks more about the "new norms" of expat life. Connect: Instagram Posts by Alicia Day in the Life of Alicia

Melissa Faraday Podcast Editor and Podcast Co-host Melissa is an American who has been living on and off (more on, than off) the islands of Southeast Asia since 2006. Meeting new people is her favorite thing to do, which is good considering she moves around a lot! She sings, experiments with music and unskillfully plays a few instruments. When these two things --music and new people -- combine, t's perfection! She considers homeschooling her three kids as a complete chore and only cooks for them because many people frown upon eating cereal three meals a day. Rosalie is wife to Chris and mom to Susanna and Austin. Born and raised in the Pacific Northwest by her grandparents, she has a lot in common with third culture kids because sometimes generational differences feel like cultural differences. This, along with inspiration from her grandparents’ international whirlwind romance in Turkey, prepared her for life abroad: after nearly 10 years of “waiting,” her family lives in Spain. Before moving abroad, Rosalie worked in communications for a big software company and small nonprofits. Connect: Website Instagram Posts by Rosalie

Heather is a life-long wanderer, having lived in 8 states, 2 countries and 16 houses. For the past 15 years her amazing husband has made the journey much sweeter, and their three children have added lots of fun (and a little chaos) to the adventure. Heather and her family currently reside in a mountain village in SE Asia where she spends her days homeschooling, making all the things from scratch, learning language, taking too many pictures of cute grandmas and water buffalo, and drinking lots of coffee. Julie has been on the move since she was 9 months old. Her family immigrated to America from England at that time to land 30 miles just outside of NYC. She has spent the last 24 years overseas. She has lived in Honduras, Chile, Zambia, and Cambodia. She is a single mom and raised her two kids on overseas. She is now in the USA helping her youngest daughter transition into college and American life. She will be doing some work in India and Kenya in the coming year and cannot wait to get back on a plane. Seriously! Posts by Julie
